I can honestly say Jennings customer service is top notch compared to other dealers I have worked with, both during this auto purchase and when I initially began my search earlier this year. Jennings made my first car purchase a successful one for both parties. Alan Guevarra & Sue Guido This is the third VW Beetle I have purchased from Jennings since 2004. I am very satisfied with my Heaven Blue Metallic Beetle. While my saleman was Alan Guevarra, after I arrived at the showroom Arek brought me to the car sales lot on Waukegan Road so I could see the Beetles; that is when I noticed the new Heaven Blue Metallic Beetle. I would like to say a special thank you to Sue Guido as the remainder of my time after taking that initial ride to the car lot with Areck was spent with Sue. She took me back to the car lot on Waukegan Road so I could see the Heaven Blue Beetle again, but also to drive it back to the showroom so I could take a better look at the car inside the service garage. After we drove half way back to the showroom she motioned to me to pull into the Ace Hardware parking lot. She suggested we switch cars. She would drive the Heaven Blue Beetle so I could actually see the car on the road. Her suggestion proved to be a great idea...it cinched my decision. Plus seeing it parked near my yellow beetle made it clear to me I definitely would choose the Heaven Blue. I felt very comfortable with Sue during the entire car purchasing experience. This is a quick letter to let you know about my recent great shopping experience at Jennings. I live in the neighborhood and think it is important to shop at community businesses. From the first time I walked in to test drive a car, to the time when I was driving off the lot with my new VW 2009 Jetta TDI, the customer service was outstanding. I was treated respectfully with a no-pressure attitude. Jason Adler listened to what I said I needed and made sure that I got exactly the type of car I was looking for. He took the time to follow up and send me a "thank you" note for stopping in and checking out a VW after my first test drive. He called me a week later to make sure I was still "loving" my new car. I appreciated the "extra" touch and the hassle free experience. I felt like I was getting "special" treatment --- not because I was a woman but because I was viewed as valued customer. I was treated professionally at all times. Everyone I encountered on my visit to the dealership pre and during my purchase was friendly and helpful. I was shopping for other vehicles and similar vehicles at other dealerships, and I came back because I felt comfortable with my salesperson Jason Adler. Of all the dealerships I shopped only Jennings followed up with personal touches like thank you letters and phone calls. Other dealers did not seem to care if I found a car or not. Also for me the customer care plan and the zero percent financing accelerated my decision to buy. I likely would have waited if the zero % financing was not available. Jason Adler After various contacts with other dealers in Indiana we decided to expand our search out of state. I contacted a few VW dealers in Illinois but we settled on Jennings VW in Glenview, IL. Were in our 60's and buying anything over the internet sight unseen was something new for us. Sue Guido worked with us on the purchase price which was the best out of all dealers. I was shopping for a VW Touareg 2 and I went to many many dealers and finally I found a great deal in Jennings VW in Glenview IL and I bought the car. My experience with these people was superior and beyond expectations. Not only did they give me the best deal they also treat me as a very very valued customer. They helped me making my decisions by answering all my questions honestly. And even though my credit score was not excellent they got a 0% APR on my VW Touareg. The few days after I bought my car they were very helpful and caring and they answered all my questions. After all I asked my self a question. Would I have saved money if had shopped more? And my answer was even if I had to pay an extra 2 thousands dollars I would have come to this dealer because buying a car is not only buying a car but also the service after buying it. I do not know every one in the store but my experience was with Eric Breitenbach (Sales & Leasing) and Paula Ciolino (Finance and Lease Manager) and even though I think that every one is good I recommend asking for those people just because I do not know the rest well. ___________________________________________________________

Sue is obviously aware that today's car buyer has a number of web tools available to them that can help take the hassle out of negotiating the sale price, APR%, and monthly payment. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who didn't play the "old games" that so many other dealer sales people still try and play. After finalizing the deal with Sue I was also impressed with Ken Rempel and Paula Ciolino, who also helped make my experience with Jennings a pleasure. M.S. ___________________________________________________________ Eric Breitenbach & Sue Guido I wanted to let you know what an extremely positive experience I had leasing a car at Jennings this past week.From start to finish, my interactions with Sue and Eric were respectful, helpful, courteous and very productive.Coming from someone like myself who does not particularly enjoy buying or leasing a car, this is very high praise.
My case in point was that after test driving the car on Thursday afternoon, I emailed Eric a counter offer on Friday. Eric promptly emailed me back and Sue followed-up with a phone call. We closed the deal early Saturday afternoon.
In contrast, the same email I sent to Jennings was also sent to the AutoBarn in Evanston. They did not respond until Monday morning and still didn't beat your price.
All the while, Eric and Sue were courteous and pleasant, never pressuring me in any way. They even made sure my Touareg was washed in minutes (twice in 3 days), which brought a smile to my face.
As a result, Jennings will be my first choice when it comes time for me to purchase a car in the future.

I drove down in some really snowy conditions and the ESP and ABS in the car worked like a charm. The ESP kicked in a lot when going under over passes and on bridges where the falling snow and melt was freezing up quickly. The car was white from the salt by the time it got down here but hopefully it won't be seeing salt like that ever again.
